Brand 44 N – Awesome Brunch Near Redmond, Central Oregon

Brand 44° N has quickly become one of our go-to spots for breakfast and brunch in Central Oregon. Here’s why.

About Brand 44° N

Located in the tiny town of Terrebonne, this exceptional eatery serves breakfast, brunch, and lunch in a modern-meets-Western tavern ambiance.

After launching in 2023, Brand 44° N has already made a significant impact in northern Deschutes County. The restaurant was founded by Danielle Nogosek and Kayla Jeffery, who both have experience in the Bend restaurant scene.

After returning to Nogosek’s roots in Terrebonne, they purchased the Pump House Bar & Grill. Brand 44 was their next venture – a breakfast, brunch, and lunch-focused restaurant that offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere for the local community.entrance to restaurant

The restaurant prides itself on using local ingredients and making dishes to order, so you can taste the quality.

With large portion sizes, a selection of pastries that can be enjoyed in-house or taken to-go, and even a kid’s menu, there’s no shortage of choices.

Brand 44 N Menu: A Culinary Twist

At Brand 44° N, you’ll find a menu filled with familiar breakfast staples like pancakes, French toast, and egg dishes. But what sets this place apart are the innovative spins they put on their dishes and drinks.

For example, a PBJ French toast stack topped with homemade berry compote and whipped cream, cookie dough croissants, brunch burgers, and breakfast bao tacos, just to name a few.

These creative dishes are what keep locals and visitors coming back for more – there are just so many interesting options to try.

For those looking for healthier choices, Brand 44° N offers a variety of dairy-free, vegan options that are as delicious as they are nutritious. This includes acai bowls, overnight oats, a hearty vegan hash, etc.

There are some gluten-free options as well.

In addition to its mouthwatering food (and despite closing at 2pm each day), Brand 44° N has an interesting cocktail menu as well. There are also specialty coffee drinks, fancy hot chocolates, and chai lattes.

Brand 44° N Food Review

In our family, we love a good brunch. We are especially well-versed in French toast, pastries, and eggs benedict, so those were some of our first selections at Brand 44.

stacked french toast with peanut butter, berry compote, whipped cream

I didn’t think I would like the PB&J French Toast, but one of our family members is a sucker for peanut butter at breakfast, so I got to try it.

First of all, we were shocked at the portion size! This could easily be shared by two people, or plan to bring home some leftovers.

It’s stacked like a sandwich with a crispy, fried exterior. There’s a hint of peanut butter – not too overwhelming – and the berry compote from scratch is fantastic.

donut, pastry, croissant display case

The rotating pastry display was enticing with a selection of doughnuts, stuffed croissants, and cookies. They also make fresh donut holes.

We brought home a cookie-dough croissant. While it wasn’t a traditional, flaky croissant pastry, the gooey dough inside was delightful.

Brand 44’s standard french toast is made with a cinnamon swirl bread. I would definitely order that again!

classic eggs benedict with hashbrowns

The classic eggs benedict was well cooked with nicely running yokes, and the hashbrowns were perfectly crispy.

I personally prefer the hollandaise sauce at Mo’s in Redmond, but I’ll happily try the other benedict variations on the menu here.

Prices for dining out feel high pretty much everywhere these days, so it’s hard to compare value to cost. Expect to spend $15-$20 per dish and about $5 for a specialty drink.

It’s not a cheap meal, but also not extravagant. With the portion sizes and quality, I’d say Brand 44 is a good value for the price compared to other local restaurants.

Atmosphere at Brand 44

The ambiance here is a blend difficult to describe. I mentioned “modern-meets-Western tavern”.indoor seating, dark wood, booths and round tables

Dark wood interiors and rotating local artwork give off a modern, trendy vibe. On the other hand, there are multiple TV screens around the room playing rodeo footage, sports, and news which feels more like a casual pub or tavern.

There are booths and large high top tables with lazy-susans for easy access to your utensils and condiments. A corner of the wall is dedicated to hot sauces.

Outside on the patio is a mix of seating styles with a view of Smith Rock, though it’s also right next to the parking lot. It’s still a nice place to get together with friends for meal or stop by on a road trip, to feast and enjoy Central Oregon’s lovely outdoors before the heat of the afternoon.

The friendly and attentive staff help create a friendly, casual vibe so you can come as you are with the whole family or dress up for a brunch date.patio seating with smith rock in background
